Apple to Build Largest Store Yet in Grand Central Terminal

Cult of Mac has confirmed that Apple will be opening its largest store yet in Grand Central Terminal on 42nd street in New York City. The store, which will surpass the Covent Garden location’s 16,372 square feet, will celebrate Apple’s 10th anniversary of being in the retail store game. Grand Central gets 700,000 visitors per day (and over one million during the holidays), and is located at one of NYC’s busiest intersections, so it would be a prime location for any business.

According to IFOAppleStore, the famous glass-walled Apple store on 5th avenue is becoming cramped due to the large crowds, so the Grand Central location should alleviate some of the strain.
