The day has come. No longer do you have to listen to users whine about AT&T’s strangle hold on the iPhone, no longer do you have to fear dropped calls in your cozy suburban abode, no longer do you have to put up with rumor after rumor of a Verizon iPhone. It is here.
“Today we’re partnering with a giant of the industry, and that’s Apple.”
The iPhone can be pre-ordered starting February 3rd, and will be available on February 10th.
Verizon is extremely confident that their network can handle the additional load, but their iPhone will not feature LTE, and the antenna design has been modified to ensure users hold it correctly.
Pricing starts at $199 for the 16GB model, and $299 for the 32GB model. No word on data plan pricing yet.
