Sharing screenshots can be a laborious task. In the native iOS, one has to take the screenshot, then MMS or email it from the Camera Roll. It doesn’t sound like much, but if multiple shots need to be sent, it becomes tedious. The alternative is to sync your device and send images from a desktop, also not ideal.
TinyGrab has been a useful tool for Mac and Windows users and its accompanying iPhone app has been recently updated. After a screenshot is taken, the photo is uploaded automatically to the user’s free TinyGrab account. A tiny url is sent to the pasteboard for sharing. Users can also share urls to Twitter and Facebook through the app. TinyGrab requires 4.2, so if you haven’t upgraded while waiting for the untethered jailbreak, you would have to do so. The app is $.99.
SB 2 Cloud is a smaller app which runs in the background and uploads screenshots to the cloud via a free CloudApp account. It also automatically provides an url for sharing in the pasteboard. A desktop application is available for managing images but is only available for Mac users. The app is $1.49 in the Cydia store and requires iOS 4.0 or higher.
Screenshots may be viewed after the break.
