Jobs: Keynote Streaming Coming to Apple TV ‘Soon’

TUAW reports that they have received an email converstaion between one of their readers and Apple, Inc. CEO Steve Jobs saying that the Apple TV will be receiving some interesting new features ‘soon.’

Apparently, an upcoming feature of Apple’s iWork ’11 office suite will be to display Keynote presentations on an Apple TV.

The questions was:

Will the new Apple TV accept keynote presentation via iOS device or a Mac? If it will, I will go buy two at an apple store tonight.

The answer:

It’s all coming soon. Stay tuned.

Of course, one could also read into that answer, and wonder just what all is coming soon. But, as Apple keeps their ultimate plans for their iOS-running, A4-powered Apple TV, you can rest assured knowing that your Apple TV will be presenting Keynotes soon. This will reportedly be handled over AirPlay, Apple’s new music and video streaming technology. The technology was supposed to make a full debut on iOS 4.2, but that looks unlikely as only music and audio streaming is available in the latest GM.
